Vehicle Cut Sheets
Ordering a part from a dismantled vehicle sometimes involves cutting body parts from a donor chassis. A cut sheet gives our yard crew crystal-clear cutting instructions. Instead of guessing, our team follows your marked lines, which helps deliver the exact section you need with minimal waste.
Why Precise Cutting Matters
Accurate cutting plays a major role in cost and turnaround speed. Marked diagrams remove guesswork and guide our team during part removal. Clear-cut lines lead to a reliable fit during installation, lower labor time during welding and prep work and less wasted material from excess trimming.
When a Cut Sheet Is Needed
A cut sheet is used when a part must be removed from a welded section of a vehicle instead of a bolt-on location. Quarter panels, rocker panels, frame rails, roof sections and rear body cuts rely on exact measurements, so the diagram helps communicate your cut preference. Bolt-on components such as fenders, doors, bumpers, hoods, headlights and taillights do not require a sheet. If you are unsure, send the sheet anyway and we will review your notes.
